I read a number of athlete's blogs, and you can always tell when one is in the off-season or when training isn't going well, they stop posting. My last post was October 10th and now I'm back at it.
I've done a couple of runs since my Marathon, but I've been taking care of house work and spending time with the family since I don't have my time consuming runs. But after eating like my life was coming to an end this last week, I'm ready to get back on the wagon.
I don't have a set plan in place, but that will be my task once I leave work today. I'm also going to have to make a hard decision of what events I'll take part in next year. I would do a Marathon every year if it wasn't for that 20 weeks of training leading up to it.
So I'm begining to sit down and look at the 2012 race schedule and try to decide what events I'm going to compete in and what my goals will be for 2012. Much more to come as decisions are made and more workouts are completed.
